Job Description
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Nottingham, 5 and a half days a week (5 days on site, 1 half day remote)
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday to Friday) and Half day Saturday
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

As a Logistics Coordinator, your role involves overseeing and optimising goods flow from origin to destination...
- Order Coordination: Manage customer orders from initiation to ensure on-time, accurate fulfilment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain precise records, conduct stock checks, and address discrepancies.
- Route Planning: Strategically plan efficient, cost-effective transport routes.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, schedule deliveries, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Documentation: Ensure complete, accurate, and compliant shipping and logistics documents.
- Customer Liaison: Provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and keep clients informed about shipments.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess logistics operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Cost Management: Optimise logistics costs while maintaining quality.
- Reporting: Generate regular performance reports for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or supply chain coordination.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics regulations and industry best practices.
