Macildowie Procurement and Supply Chain are pleased to be working with another well known and well regarded multi-billion pound turnover business. We're supporting them as they seek to recruit a Procurement Analyst to join their Milton Keynes based procurement team.
This is a newly created position. Along with the other team members you'll be responsible for delivering the procurement department's core purpose; to increase profitability procuring quality goods and services at the lowest total cost.
You'll show an enthusiasm to embrace the challenge of working in a diverse business of significant scale with a distributed decision making structure and wide geographic footprint.
Whilst the role will be based in the Milton Keynes office, there will be the need to travel across the UK to support projects on an as required basis.
Sourcing, compiling and analysing information to support the decision making process for Procurement projects
Working closely with the full Procurement Team supporting them with good clear analysis of information
Identify and deliver tangible results through cost reduction and service improvement on projects
You will also be involved in other areas outside of category such as spend reports, system and process improvements
Key skills required
Good presentation skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced Excel knowledge and experience (essential)
Self-starter and results focused
