Macildowie, working exclusively with a growing business in Uttoxeter, are pleased to bring you an exciting opportunity for a procurement and stock controller. Working in a fast-paced project environment, you will be responsible for coordinating the supply of materials for projects across the world. No two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to develop skills in procurement, stock control, project management, supply chain, logistics and more besides. As a part of the operations team, it will be your responsibility to ensure that all required materials for allocated projects are delivered on time in order to deliver the best service for customers. Key duties will include:
Stock Management. Vital to this position will be the ability to coordinate a diverse portfolio of materials and ensure that the required parts arrive where they need to, when they're needed. A strong background in stock, stores or inventory management is essential.
Manage the procurement of required materials. Where additional stock is required, you will be expected to source suppliers, lead negotiations and make cost savings where possible.
Manage interactions with stakeholders and suppliers to maintain best practice and working relationships.
Conduct the annual stock take and take responsibility for all other monthly audits and stock checks.
First and foremost - the successful applicant will have a strong background in stock, stores or inventory management. Essential to this role is planning the requirement of materials for specific job and a background in stock so you'll need to have done that.
You will also be someone who has worked in an events, hire or project-based role in the past. Being able to get up to speed quickly with how our client operates is key and having experience in one of these fields will really help.
You'll have dealt with procurement and done some of the buying/procurement for your current or previous company - we need someone to be an accomplished negotiator and stakeholder manager.
The Offer :
£35,000 basic salary
Bi Annual Company Bonus Scheme, OTE of £1,500
