Job Description

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention have partnered with one of the UK's leading technology providers to help them appoint a Procurement Manager. Following years of sustained growth, our client are now looking to add to their growing team in Derbyshire.

The Role

  • Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager.
  • Remit: 50% Strategic - 50% Tactical
  • Looking after both direct and indirect spend.
  • Overseeing indirect spend: IT, FM, marketing.
  • Responsible for buying high value raw materials, components and goods.
  • Working closely alongside the production and product development team.
  • Leading on end-to-end bid/tender management processes.
  • Taking a lead on developing lasting relationships with suppliers.
  • Continuously looking for new ways to improve.
  • Compile data which pertains to supplier performance.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has 3/4+ years experience within Buying/Purchasing or Direct Procurement.
  • Must have indirect procurement experience.
  • Worked within Technology or High-Value Manufacturing.
  • CIPS level 4, preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willing, can-do attitude.

Details

  • Salary: 50k - 55k per annum + bonus.
  • WFH flex.
  • Office hours.
