Job Description

An award winning business with a global presence is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Category Manager to join the team and manage contracts retailing to Indirect / Services GNFR spend.


The key thing is for you to have a good background within Indirect/GNFR procurement and are familiar with Contract Negotiation, Writing and Drafting experience.

Observing the team stakeholder management plans created by the UK Procurement lead for such category, develop and maintain strong and effective internal relationships.

Manage or facilitate the sourcing, selection and associated decision making related to third party supply of goods and services

Ensure the optimum service delivery from external suppliers

Achieve cost effective procurement

Complying with the Terms of Engagement between Procurement and Legal

Negotiate and draft contracts that enable the provision of goods and services

Produce high quality contractual documentation

Manage third party risk

Build and maintain strong and effective external relationships with suppliers as appropriate

Contribute towards the UK and "global" Procurement department goals


Indirect Procurement background or keen to get into indirect procurement

Knowledge of sourcing / contracting process and procedures

Contract drafting experience

Effective communication including Good negotiation skills
