A great opportunity to join a global leader in automotive manufacturing. As a Procurement Project Lead (PPL) you will be working alongside the Purchasing team taking a lead on the current projects with the view to driving down costs, supporting the Procurement and Supply Chain function during key negotiation.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and share communication material tailored to both new and existing suppliers
Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives
Prepare RFPs (to cover whole life cost components)
Agree NDAs with all suppliers to participate in RFP process
Issue RFPs and analyse responses
Conduct negotiations
Conduct final analysis and develop recommendation

This position also requires balanced solutions to meet Project performance requirements while controlling costs and schedule of all project related Purchase Orders and Contracts.

Responsibilities include management of people and processes in line with company policies and procedures; working in multifunctional teams to conduct demand planning, to identify operational requirements, and to develop procurement strategies in line with overall company procurement strategy; and coordinating work activity with other groups within the Project..

>Demonstrate ability to lead procurement activities and promote a team atmosphere.
>Coordinate purchasing requirements
>Conduct market research in line with company strategy
>Negotiate favourable terms and conditions, and award contracts/purchase orders with suppliers
>Work with key internal stakeholders to fulfil Procurement requirements
>Support Supplier Development
>Establish and maintain close working relationships with customers

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
>Conversant with any International Standards that are relevant & Procurement Operating Procedures
>Supervisory experience desirable
> Ability to effectively interact with people in a broad range of disciplines
