Commercial Property Manager- Circa 40k + Car allowance


Established in 1985 this practice of Chartered Surveyors has grown to become market leaders by providing a comprehensive land and property consultancy across the East and South Midlands as well as specialist services throughout the UK.

Due to the retirement of a partner they are looking for an ambitious and talented commercial property manager to come and manage the existing portfolio and development it further. Due to the strong relationships build up over the years they also can offer a unique mix of public and private clients

This role for me sets aside from other property management roles with the genuine room to develop the portfolio and move into a director's role.

I have worked closely with this client for a number of years and would be happy to elaborate on any points of the role or company background

Day to day duties as set out by the client.

The role will be to undertake the management of commercial property which consists of retail, office and industrial properties on behalf of numerous private and public sector clients.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

Overseeing rent, insurance and service charge collection/ debt management for the portfolio's
Management of service charges such as setting budgets, reconciling accounts and day to day management of expenditure
Client care - day to day liaison with clients, tenants and contractors
Preparing client reports and reporting
Property inspections
Dealing with tenant applications for alterations, licences and lease variation
General day to day advice and lead instructions.

Attributes/ Skills

Professional and determined approach to work with an entrepreneurial spirit
Clear and efficient communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team, in a sometimes fast paced environment, but also independently when required.
Hold a full UK driver's licence
Experience in commercial property management. Professional qualification not necessary.
