Job Description

Professional Services Buyer - Coventry

The successful Buyer will support the Category Manager for Professional Services and will be responsible for identifying effective procurement solutions across services areas of spend (eg; FM, Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance etc.).

Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance across all suppliers through detailed analysis, planning, negotiation and adherence
- Delivering value for money - savings, cost avoidance, service improvements, quality uplift
- Proactive management of all professional service contracts
- Ensure competitive tendering for all professional services
- Benchmark and negotiate new and existing supplier to ensure optimum market prices are achieved
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management
- Support the Procurement department to help achieve the strategic development plan

Experience and skills required:
- Degree qualified
- Strong background within professional services procurement
- Proven negotiation experience and successes
- Expansive professional services supplier knowledge
- Tendering experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly competent in supplier evaluation and selection
- Strong skills on all Microsoft office packages
