Purchase Ledger Clerk, £18,000 - £20,000, Nottingham
Macildowie is proud to be working exclusively with an innovative business seeking a hard-working Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team to cover Maternity Leave for 12 months.
Based in Nottingham, you will be responsible in supporting the finance team and working closely with the Accounts Assistants with specific responsibility for carrying out all purchase ledger duties. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that truly looks after their employees and who consistently look to improve employee experiences. Reporting into Group Financial Controller, you will be processing invoices on Sage line 200, Following up on invoices that are on hold or are under query, Produce a list of payments due, prepare bacs runs or raise cheques, Process payments onto the Purchase Ledger and send out together with a remittance advice, ensure supplier details are accurately maintained, monitor and control the purchase ledger, reconcile supplier statements as they are received and follow up on any queries.
It is preferred that you have worked in a similar role, ideally processing invoices have experience of working with a computerised accounts system. You will have excellent IT skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and experience of analysing and reporting data.
