Purchase Ledger Clerk


Macildowie are delighted to have partnered with a fantastic SME business that is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will play an integral role within the Clerical Finance function in their head office in Burton On Trent


As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for the closure of the PL in accordance with month end reporting.

You will be posting payments, posting one off receipts, processing credit card statements, expenses and supplier invoices. You will also be raising BACS, sending out invoices and remittance advices.

You will also be undertaking some administration duties and you will be working closely with the Regional Directors.


This is a fast paced high volume role so you will need sound technical knowledge of Accounts Payable with at least 2 years experience in a similar role.

It would be a significant advantage if you are proficient in the use of MS packages including Excel.
