Macildowie are currently recruiting for an exciting new Role within a growing business based in Ashby. As Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will be responsible for looking after the whole Ledger. They are looking for somebody who is passionate about their work and wants to grow as the business grows.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to day supervision of the Group's Accounts Payable function including one staff member
Processing of expenses and credit card
Processing of Payment runs
Monitor and review the purchase ledger to ensure tidiness and accuracy
Manage and process bank and supplier reconciliations including investigation and resolution of differences.
Setup of suppliers / customers
Ad hoc support across the Accounts function including some sales ledger work
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Proven experience in managing SME accounts ledgers
Excellent understanding of inventory handling (including reverse logistics)
Knowledge of double entry / good maths
Comfortable with fully integrated ERP systems
Proficient in excel and other MS office applications
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
An ability to learn quickly and find solutions to problems
A willingness to take on more and be involved in all aspects of the team's work
Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
