Salary circa. £11.79 Per Hour PAYE - I am currently seeking an immediately available Procurement/ Purchasing Administrator to join a market- leading services company based in Northamptonshire. To be considered for this position you must be immediately available or be in a position where you can start this role within 1-3 weeks.
The role of Procurement Administrator will provide support to both procurement teams and systems and processes teams. The primary focus will be to provide a full administrative service to the Procurement team in order to ensure the smooth flow of order administration and workflow queries.
Responsibility for processing all purchase order requisitions from the business
To be a central contact point for all purchasing enquires, offering support on purchasing applications, uploading reports, and data analysis.
To be responsible for creating emergency orders and Purchase Order management
To be the lead for all procurement-related invoice queries, working closely with Accounts Payable colleagues, where required.
Administrative support of procurement data, ensuring suppliers have the required accreditation and validation prior to system entry.
To maintain information systems as required, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and available for reference by business-users.
To use initiative and innovation identifying new procurement opportunities and process improvements.
Either Purchasing experience or experience of working within the Construction sector. If you have both then this will be an advantage but by no means essential.
