A fantastic opportunity for a Procurement & Inventory Controller to join a rapidly growing furniture supplier in the East Midlands.
Our client has an opening for a Procurement & Inventory Controller to join a company that supplies direct to trade only. The company imports from the Far East and is growing year on year at an astounding rate.
You will need to have previous experience in a Purchasing or Planning role and have an exceptional knowledge of Supply chain processes as well as being use to working with a global supply base. As an individual you will need:
Excellent drive and determination to succeed
To have impeccable communication skills
And have the ability to operate and manage a work load in a fast paced environment.
Accountabilities for the role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Management of all unshipped PO's up to point of sailing
Managing the stock ordering the whole furniture range
Gain full understanding over 600 SKU's, 35 suppliers and review the daily and weekly order intake
Liaise with Quality Control teams in Asia and Brazil for accurate lead time information
Liaise with Senior Team to ensure adequate stock cover through peak seasonal trading and supplier closure periods.
In Return our client is offering:
£25,000 - £30,000 (dependant on experience)
