Purchasing Manager Packaging
Dependant upon level of relevant experience

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for a team of 2 and will also work closely with the Supply and Account Management teams.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Optimise value and reduce risk across an annual spend of c.£10mil
- Negotiate and manage contracts with global suppliers and factories
- Conduct ongoing supplier management and improvement
- Build strong relationships with existing and new suppliers and customers
- Create and maintain SLA's with key suppliers
- Drive, develop and implement strong processes within the procurement department
- Keep abreast of market conditions, exchange rates, raw material costs, and other cost drivers in order to deliver best value
- Work closely with Account Managers to achieve on going customer excellence
- Working closely with operations and supply chain to develop, lead and execute procurement strategies
- Assist in resolving all queries and quality issues associated to product
- Control and report on department budgets
- Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date within the department
- Guide and mentor team members
- Produce monthly reports and statistics and present to the board as and when necessary
- Global travel will be required 2 or 3 times a year
