A Staffordshire based Engineering business is recruiting a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager in a newly created role.
Reporting into the Operations Manager/Director, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the quality management system is suitable for the needs of the business and provide effective and robust procedures to support the deliverable services of the business.
More specifically, you will ensure that quality objectives are in line with business goals and objectives, ensure the systems are in line with current objectives, make sure the quality system is compliant with current legislation, review processes and value streams and through Kaizens, incorporate best practice and efficiency improvements.
In terms of Continuous Improvement, you will employ appropriate tools such as LEAN to analyse workforce utilisation, facility layout and operational data and process flows to determine the most efficient utilisation of workforce and equipment.
To be considered you will require a strong background in Quality and Continuous Improvement ideally within a manufacturing and engineering environment, have excellent stake holder engagement skills, keen an effective influencer and be analytical in your approach.
If you can demonstrate the above, then the salary will be in the region of £45,000 - £50,000 plus additional benefits.
