A Northamptonshire based manufacturer is expanding their Quality department and are seeking an additional Quality Assistant.
Reporting into the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day business policies, processes and procedures across Health & Safety and Quality to ensure the manufacturing facility is compliant.
You will work closely with the rest of the team assisting with internal audit procedures, updating records and reporting back to management. You will additionally ensure that manufacturing, supply chain and design certification processes meet the required standards.
internally you will work closely with the Purchasing team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers and ensure that these are fully adhered to.
In relation to the Plant, you will support or lead risk assessments throughout the building and assist with outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience and knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems, have excellent communication skills and be a competent user of Excel as data processing will form part of this role.
If you can demonstrate the above, the salary will be in the region of £25,000 plus additional benefits.
