Job Title: Trainer/Assessor
Location: Regional (East Anglia)

Job Salary: £23k - £25k
The primary role of Trainer/Assessor is to work with, and support a caseload of learners both in the workplace and at training centres through their qualifications, by using a variety of teaching, learning and assessing techniques to ensure that the highest standards of bespoke learning are offered.
As part of this role you would be responsible for offering information, advice and guidance and carrying out initial assessments to identify learner needs, as well as completing and maintaining all start, progression and completion paperwork. It would be down to you to ensure that each learner is aware of his/her responsibility in the collection and presentation of evidence and to fully brief learners on the assessment process.
Through passion and dedication you will successfully progress learners through their qualifications via observation, work product, assessment plans, written and audio evidence and other methods. To understand and adhere to relevant Framework standards and manage the assessment planning and any further learning required.

You should be a motivational trainer who is a dedicated team player who embraces change and challenges with a positive attitude and approach. Using excellent communication and internal/external Stakeholder Management to promote success of individual achievements and celebrate equality and diversity. It would be beneficial to have experience of vocational delivery within a Merchanting/Retail/Customer service environment.
Required experience is as per the below:
- D32/D33/A1/ TAQA/ Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
- Minimum Award in Education and Training (PTTLS)
- Experience of delivering English and Maths functional skills in a vocational (work based learning) setting
- To hold a recent DBS certificate/to proceed with a DBS application.
- Hold a full UK Driving licence
- Working level of knowledge of word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, E-portfolios and other MIS and databases
- Previous experience of training delivery and assessment
