Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Retail Manager to work for a market leading retail company. As a Store Manager you will be responsible for all staff to provide excellent customer service, whilst ensuring driving sales and maximising financial performance.

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
  • Managing budgets
  • Maintaining statistical and financial records
  • Dealing with customer queries and complaints
  • Overseeing pricing and stock control
  • Maximising profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Preparing promotional materials and displays
  • Financial analysis/planning
  • Liaising with head office

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Minimum of 2 years Retail Management experience
  • Degree level education
  • Enthusiasm
