Macildowie have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales administrator to provide administration support to the sales team and also the estimators. The job is working for a local engineering company that's core values are providing opportunities for both their suppliers and their employees, being the best and valuing relationships with the companies customers and suppliers. This is a full time permanent position. Hours are Monday - Friday 830-5pm.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a fast paced administration role where you will be dealing with customer quotations, process customer enquiries and orders, obtain client information and prices for the sales staff and estimators, answering all calls and putting through to the relevant department, uploading photographs to the company's website and social media accounts, dealing with incoming emails and forwarding to the relevant contact within the business and all general administration tasks. You will also become the face of the company and meet and greet all visitors, keep the reception tidy, supply drinks to visitors and deal with all incoming and outgoing post.
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
I am looking for someone with strong administration experience working within a busy environment. You will need to have exposure to sales and marketing, have excellent telephone manner and communication skills both verbal and written. As you will be working on the companies website and social media accounts you would need to have experience of social media. It would also be a plus if you come from within the engineering industry and have dealt with estimators. You must be be fully IT literate and be strong on all Microsoft Office i.e excel, word etc
