Job Description


A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for small manufacturing company based in Ilkeston. My client is looking for a Sales Administrator, the role is working on a permanent basis. The role will require administrative support to the sales departments. The role will be supporting multiple people, so the ability to take on multiple tasks and requests is essential.


  • Raising Invoices
  • Dealing with Customer queries
  • Work closely with Customers and Sales Engineers
  • Issue Sales proposals
  • Process applications
  • Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders
  • Issuing of weekly and monthly reports
  • Manage Sales forecast figures
  • Reconciling monthly sales figures
  • Processing Sales documentation
  • Assisting with any other general administration duties


  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Background in Technical distribution
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to build rapport
  • Self motivated, proactive and hardworking
  • Enthusiastic and positive with a 'can do' mentality
  • Team player, helps others, flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook and internet
  • Excellent attention to detail
