Job Description

The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join an ambitious and entrepreneurial business in Nottingham who operate in the health and fitness sector.

This business has recently expanded their product range online and invested heavily in their website, ERP/CRM system and operating offices that means you will be joining a company that has a 20 plus year presence of trading in this market and have prepared themselves for the next stages of growth. There is a healthy existing customer base however they need a passionate and self-motivated Sales Manager to drive business development and vertical market sales.

Key Responsibilities:

-Maintaining and developing client relationships
-Account management and growing existing customer base
-New business development
-Managing and developing sales regions in the UK
-Visiting potential customers
-Providing expert information on the products, quotations and after sales care
-Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
-Representing the organisation at trade shows, events and product demonstrations
-Recording leads, sales potential and sales
-Reporting KPI's to senior stakeholders
-An understanding of business planning and strategy development and implementation
-Reviewing your own sales performance to meet and exceed targets

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a commercial background with proven success in sales and business development and be comfortable with product presentations and meetings , creating and following up quotes and using different sales techniques to close sales.

You will have excellent negotiation and communications skills with the ability to influence potential customers with a natural confidence within internal and external meetings.

Organisation and time management skills will be essential alongside project management skills and the capability to maintain a large number of client relationships at the same time. You will need to maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times including during busy periods.
