Job Description

An exciting opportunity has risen for an experience Sales Trainer or Learning & Development Consultant/Partner with experience in training Sales professionals for a rapidly growing global organisation. This is a new opportunity reporting into the brand new Head of L&D so you will be joining at an exciting time! The role is based in Leicestershire and paying £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits.

The role will look to strengthen and develop the sales capability in the Area Sales Manager and National Account Manager population for the business. Working directly with the Sales Directors and Managing Directors for our UK and overseas businesses the sales trainer will scope, develop (individually and with others) and deliver effective sales training interventions across a variety of media including classroom, virtual and digital media types.

Partnering L&D Business Partners, you will identify training needs within sales and customer service job functions, analysing trends to identify specific staff development needs to design tailored training for a range of staff levels within sales and customer services. Key employees within these functions range from junior to National Manager levels.

You will be confident and enthusiastic in order to deliver both 1-1 and in groups, coaching in engaging sessions to upskill the sales workforce. You will be involved in analysing and evaluating the outcomes to ensure you bring in new ideas to continuously implement new training material to push the organisation forward.

There will be an opportunity to get involved in projects due to the new Head of L&D setting the new strategy.

The Candidate

Experience previously in a Sales Trainer/ B2B Sales role/ L&D (Sales) role
Experience in Management development
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Motivational and engaging with the aspiration to want people to learn
Excellent project management skill and experience
Good listener with a keen interest on how people learn
Ideally some experience in a multi-site organistion
Flexible to work in a national role
