Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for an experienced Marketing Brand Manager to join a well known B2C company on a 6-7 month fixed term contract. The purpose of the job will be to plan, develop and deliver cross functional strategic projects creating high quality innovative marketing communications materials that support the brand position, improve brand awareness, drive advocacy and increase website visits, internet enquiries and physical customers.
-Working closely with Group Technical team to develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the full standard product range, specification, key features and benefits for use in marketing communications.
-Production and maintenance of a full range of high quality assets for the standard product range for use within on and offline advertising to include copy (descriptors), photography, CGI, rich media, print (house type leaflets/ posters, brochures).
-Brand - development of the brand positioning and proof points to support the brand strategy improve awareness and driving advocacy.
-Creation and delivery of brand development projects as defined by the annual sales and marketing plan and agreed with the Group Head of Marketing.
-Working closely with a broad range of internal functions including group technical, procurement and legal, to develop strong and compelling propositions for strategic projects.
-Creating a critical path to delivery of activities that is achievable and appropriate to the business re-quirements.
-Development of a comprehensive brief for all stakeholders and agency 3rd parties that clearly articulates objectives, requirements, budget and timings.
-Project manage effectively and efficiently resolving issues in a decisive manner to deliver projects on time and to budget.
-Production of launch briefs and delivers content to group marketing team, marketing agencies and divisional marketing teams for use in on and offline advertising.
-Evaluation of marketing activity, identifies key learnings, maximises ROI and communicates best practice effectively back to the business.
-Custodian of the brand identities evolving as required to ensure brands are distinctive, compelling and differentiated against each other and the competition and deliver well against the respective positionings.
-Graduate calibre marketing specialist with significant proven experience in a similar marketing role or may have previously worked in a senior capacity within a marketing agency.
-A business to consumer marketer.
-Experience of brands - ideally retail or similar.
- Campaign management/direct response (lead generation) marketing model.
- Experience of digital channels - website, PPC, SEO, email, display, social
- Used to delivering high quality activity at pace through a breadth of marketing agencies including cre-ative, strategy, media, digital and studio
- Creative - has a good eye for creative across multiple channels - photographic, video, CGI,
- Line management experience
-Commercial acumen, strong leadership, organisational and project management skills, financial and budget management
-Stakeholder management - confident, articulate and can present a compelling business case to senior stakeholders, strong influencing skills, able to overcome objections, a good negotiator.
-Customer centric - understands needs and places at the heart of everything
-Works independently, decisive, strong judgement, problem solver
-Excellent communicator and strong relationship developer
-Comfortable with pace as opposed to perfection.
-Highly mobile and willing to travel extensively
-Ideally has experience of managing third party agencies
