Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join a local service provider.

Our client has an opening for a Senior Buyer to join their growing team.

The Role

Primary function:

Reporting in to the Head of Procurement you will as Procurement Expert and Advisor for the business, build and maintain relationships with business management and operational teams influencing procurement strategy and decision making.

You'll be responsible for managing the negotiation, planning and placing of contracts. As well as creating fantastic stakeholder relationship management, understanding and overcoming objections.

Ideal Candidate

You will have:

CIPS qualification
Relevant post qualification experience in a similar role
Experience of a manging multiple projects
Fantastic Supplier Relationship Management
Good knowledge of UK and EU legislation
NEC3 would be advantageous but not essential
