Macildowie HR are partnering a leading manufacturing organisation based in the East Midlands to source a Senior HR Advisor to who wants to progress to HR Manager level, working as a HR generalist to help push the HR function forward. This is a hands on, dynamic and fast paced role and we are looking for an operational expert who can deal with competing priorities and someone who's interested in leading on multiple projects. The role is based in Leicestershire and paying £35,000 - £45,000 depending on your experience.
Reporting into the current HR Manager you will be responsible for a site of 700 employees which will increase to 2,000 in 2017 so you will be joining at an exciting time and playing a key part in the company's success! You will use your excellent communication and listening skills to build relationships with senior managers to support on all matter HR, introducing new ideas and helping implement them into the company.
Using your solid generalist HR experience you will be leading on all employee relations cases including disciplinaries & grievances, performance management and absence management and the effective implementation of new policies and procedures. Due to the rapid growth of the business we are looking for a problem solver, someone who can bring in new ideas and improve the department's processes and procedures so some experience working in a business going through change would be helpful. You will be confident in building strong relationships at all levels as well as be a strong influencer in order to push back on line managers in a coaching style.
This is in no doubt a hands on and operational role where you'll be juggling multiple tasks and working at pace, at times within an environment of ambiguity (which many people thrive on!) where you have to make decision on the spot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to hit the ground running in a gritty environment in order to learn the business and progress to HR Manager by next year due to the current HR Manager preparing to take on more of a business wide HR role. will take on a more senior role.
