Purchase Ledger Supervisor £22,000 - £25,000, Alfreton Derby
Macildowie is proud to be working with an innovative, progressive and market leading manufacturing business seeking a hard-working Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their team.
Based in Alfreton you'll be working as part of a team to ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately, on time and in line with company policy.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will code, check and register invoices onto in-house system, supervise processing of transactions for 3 entities, ensure changes to workload are planned and managed effectively, check and reconcile supplier statements, deal with any purchase ledger enquiries, process staff expenses in line with company policies, act as a lead for other team members, month end reporting and management of AP KPI's, administration and analysis of purchasing card transactions.
It is preferred that you have worked in a similar role, ideally with 3 years experience in a medium to large purchase ledger department, knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, understanding of basic costing principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a calm manner, self discipline with a positive attitude, strong team ethos and the ability to work to deadlines.
