Senior Talent Manager - Northampton - Permanent - £65,000-£75,000

The role is seen as a priority role as the post holder will lead on multiple facets of the business which feed into the overall talent strategy. The role is being recruited on a permanent basis and will £65,000-£75,000.
The Senior Talent Manager will work closely with the wider HR team and business leaders to deliver local and regional Talent strategies that will feed into the wider global strategy of the business. Key areas of focus for the role will be around designing, developing and deploying leadership development programmes, conducting talent reviews and facilitating a culture that embraces succession planning through targeted development programmes.
The Senior Talent Manager will be the key contact between regions on sharing best practice and will bridge the gap between regions in terms of identifying local and global talent trends, gaps and successes in developing talent in line with frameworks. The Senior Talent Manager will ensure that a performance management strategy is deployed across the business to drive a high performing culture. This will involve reviewing current performance management practices, seeking opportunities to improve the process and working with senior managers to ensure that all performance reviews and the appraisal process drive high performance but also behaviours in line with the business values.
Not only will the Senior Talent Manager look at developing internal talent but will also support the development of business culture and an employer brand to attract new talent to fit the business values.
To be considered for this role, you will have led on the end to end talent management process including Succession Planning, will have deployed development programmes at various management levels and will also have led on performance management strategies. You will have significant experience working with large complex businesses and will have a real aptitude for building relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will not be a disruptive personality but you will be confident enough to challenge practices for the longer term benefit of the business.
