Macildowie are currently looking for a Service Business Manager to work for a rapidly growing business based in Melton Mowbray. This is a key role in the business and the successful candidate will be expected to significantly increase the service business whilst continuing to deliver first class customer service. The successful candidate will have a strong service ethos, proven sales capability, strong leadership skills and a proven track record of growing a service business.
This is a permanent full time position.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full P&L responsibility for the service division
Team leadership, recruitment, training and development
Sales a key part of the role
Diversification of products serviced
Management of the Customer Service Manager and Customer Service Team and also the Service Manager and Engineers
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
In order to be considered you must be ambitious and have the ability to drive the business forward and have a proven track record of doing so. You must also be working in a similar role within management.
Experienced in leading service teams
Strong technical skills
Strong industry contacts within engineering
An excellent communicator with good listening skills
Have proven training and coaching skills
Hugely ambitious with the temperament and character to join the Board in due course
This would suit an individual who is working for an SME business and can turn their hand to anything.
