Macildowie Recruitment is pleased to be working with a fantastic Derbyshire based business who are looking to appoint a HR Shared Service Manager to the business. This is a newly created position which has been devised to support with the significant growth plans that the business has ahead.
The HR Shared Service Manager will be responsibility for leading a medium sized HR function, ensuring the effective delivery of a comprehensive and efficient HR service. As part of the HR function the HR Shared Service Manager will support with aligning the overall business strategy with that of the people agenda. They will work to ensure that operational interventions are implemented that encourage a high performing culture within both the shared service team and the wider business. Data management, compliance and adherence to policies will be the core components of the HR Shared Service Manager's role, alongside performance improving projects.
The HR Shared Service Manager will be an engaging leader, able to motivate and drive a team to delivering an outstanding service to their internal stakeholders. Previous experience of operating within a similar function is essential for the role as is previous people management responsibility. Knowledge of process improvement strategies and data management activities is desired. The HR Shared Service Manager will need to demonstrate a true advocacy of the HR function and be customer centric in their working practices and behaviours. A strong understanding of ER case management is desired alongside their operational know how.
