Area Sales Manager

£30,000 - £45,000 + car allowance

Covering Derbyshire, with occasional travel to Rugby offices

We are thrilled to be working with an exciting construction business to expand their Area Sales team, covering the North of the UK - reporting directly to the Sales Director.

Duties:

• Collaborate with contractors, distributors, retailers, architects, and specifiers to secure business
• Develop business in new growth areas as well as existing business
• Successful visits and business acquisition within the interiors industry
• Development of sales opportunities via project based work
• Building strong relationships with internal contacts to drive sales into the Construction industry
• Networking and attending industry events on an ad hoc basis to influence sales

Person specification:

• Demonstrated persuasive, influential, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work to procedures dealing with facts, standards, and quality.
• Must have a Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Experience:

• Confidence, enthusiasm, and well-organized self-motivation to generate new business through relationship development.
• Thriving in a challenging environment, working to achieve set goals and targets.
• Ability to work collaboratively, follow direction, and seek authority when required.
