Job Description

A Nottinghamshire based manufacturer is recruiting an additional Supply Planner to join their Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible maintaining optimum inventory levels across the business.

This will require excellent analytical skills, an inquisitive mind and superb communication skills.

You will be expected to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to gain as much information as possible to accurately plan adherence to the forecast.

Additionally, you will work closely with suppliers to give them as much visibility as possible as to business requirements and expedite orders in a timely manner.

You will targeted on inventory accuracy and On Time In Full delivery. The Supply base is global so you will additionally be working to varying lead times of up to 12 weeks.

Internal communication is critical and you will be expected to provide accurate reporting to management.

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need to demonstrate previous experience in a Supply Chain role working with a high SKU count.

You will have excellent analytical ability and be particularly strong on Excel, with the ability to perform VlookUp's and Pivot Tables.

Finally, key to the business is that you can show a real passion for Supply Chain and the drive to better service levels.

If you can demonstrate the above, the salary will be in the region of £25,000 plus additional benefits.
