We are currently partnering with an excellent business who have been working in the UK for over 50 years and have a global presence through multiple Manufacturing and sales locations. Supporting the UK HR Director this is a newly created role and will drive and develop training including the Apprentice development programme throughout the UK and European region to ultimately deliver the businesses future talent.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement effective plans, strategies, procedures and policies in line with business need and organisational objectives, across Europe
Manage effective internal comms to promote training and personal development
Manage the Graduate and UK apprenticeships, focusing on appropriate training and development
Manage the UK Apprenticeship Levy account
Ensure the regional operational skills training policy is implemented
Develop and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development
Manage and lead the delivery of projects and initiatives
Procure, manage and liaise with external training providers
To work closely with the regional HR community and other functional leads
Candidates will need to demonstrate their Training/Skills experience in a large multi site business with some European involvement. Your Apprentice/Skills Development knowledge will be 1st class and you will have the ability to successfully deliver effective apprentice/training activities while managing varied stakeholders across multiple sites. You will have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills along with strong systems / e-learning technology products.
