A leading manufacturing company in Burton-on-Trent are looking for a Transport Administrator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone straight out of school/college who is looking to step into a logistics environment. The successful candidate will be working Monday-Friday and be responsible for working closely with the customers to ensure all queries are answered quickly.
This is a brilliant entry level position into transport, you will be provided with training and development to help you succeed in the industry. The role will suit someone who is keen to progress and learn in a really exciting team.
You will be responsible for;
Working closely with customers to keep them updated on their deliveries.
Answering all incoming calls and resolving them in a professional manner.
Working with the team to ensure all documentation for inbound and outbound goods are completed and filled correctly.
Building relationships with external customers.
Undertaking administrative duties within the transport office.
What will you be like?
You will have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
It is essential that you are an excellent communicator.
IT skills are a key element of the position, you will be including Microsoft Word and Excel.
You will have strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be organised and be able to prioritise their workload.
The role is working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
