Job Description

HR Manager £50,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance
Manchester - M62 Corridor (with occasional travel)

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can truly make an impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, growing SME at a pivotal point in their journey.
I am seeking a commercially minded, hands-on HR Manager to play a key role in shaping my clients people agenda during a period of exciting growth and integration. This position offers the chance to lead projects, influence at senior level, and ensure the HR function delivers real value to the business and its people.

The Opportunity

As HR Manager, you'll partner closely with the leadership team, taking ownership of HR operations while driving transformation and embedding best practice. This is a role where no two days are the same - one moment you'll be overseeing TUPE and integration projects, the next you'll be leading on employee engagement initiatives or advising managers on people matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading HR integration projects, including TUPE, systems, policies, and contracts.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers on all people-related matters.
  • Implementing HR systems to improve efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Managing employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Partnering on organisational design, workforce planning and talent management.
  • Embedding HR policies and frameworks to support a fast-paced, growing business.
  • Overseeing day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, L&D, wellbeing and engagement.

About You

I am looking for a proactive, pragmatic HR professional who enjoys combining operational delivery with strategic influence. You'll bring:

  • Solid HR management experience, ideally with TUPE and integration expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience with HR systems implementation and policy development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience).

What's on Offer:

  • Salary £50,000 - £60,000
  • Car allowance (c. £500/month)
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • 6% employer pension contribution
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (including Christmas shut-down)
  • Private healthcare
  • Excellent career progression opportunities
  • A collaborative, friendly culture where people truly come first
