Alex describes himself as a dedicated Sales Ledger Controller; whether payment, or billing related, he is always happy to help. Alex has a lot of experience in this area, having worked in Finance for the last 12 years. If you have a Sales Leger related problem, he’ll find a way to resolve it.

Charlotte is the Business Systems Manager at Macildowie and is responsible to managing the business' systems and supporting suppliers, managing projects and supports with internal training.

Charlotte started working at Macildowie in 2008 as a Business Support Adminstrator. Since then she has worked her way up to manage the Business Support function for the business before moving to the Business Systems Team in July 2015. Whilst working at Macildowie Charlotte has studied for a Diploma in Counselling.

Ellie began her career in customer service whilst studying Criminology at University. After graduating she joined Macildowie back in 2021 working as a candidate resourcer before moving into the business support team in January.

James is COO at macildowie.  He is responsible for ensuring we have effective operational procedures in place to secure the functionality of the business and assist the CEO to drive extensive and sustainable growth while supporting and enhancing Macildowie’s unique culture. He is responsible for project and programme management and procurement as well as our internal Business Support, Administration, Business Systems, Marketing and HR functions.

More recently James has built a new social media strategy for the business based on cutting edge practices from outside the recruitment industry.

James' aim is to ensure our operational systems and processes deliver the same kinds of quality experiences and results that our people do, optimising average revenue per head and making our business more easily scaleable.

He has over 25 years experience as a recruiter and manager of recruitment teams, as well as significant business process and system change experience.

James joined Macildowie in 1995 not long after the business was started. He progressed from recruiting part-qualified to senior executive appointments in finance across the Midlands. In 2002 James launched our HR Division, growing it for a number of years. In 2011 James was seconded away from recruitment for nine months to manage the selection, implementation and development of our brand new internal recruitment system.

In May 2013 James moved full time into a role as Head of Business Systems, acting as a change agent for the business, directing the development and training of our business processes and systems to most effectively support our client base. In July 2015 he was appointed to the board as Director of Business Systems and in May 2019 became Chief Operating Officer.

Keely joined Macildowie in early 2013, working with the finance team responsible for purchase ledger and our temporary worker’s payroll. Previously to this she worked for Vision Express for five years in the purchase ledger team and cash office.

Kelly started working at Macildowie in May 2021 as a Business Support Administrator and she's loving it. Kelly wanted a new challenge after working in care for almost 2 years. 

Lucy joined Macildowie in 2018 working within the Business Support Team.

Previously Lucy has worked in similar roles within the recruitment industry.

Olga started her professional career working as an Administrator/Insurance Consultant while studying Law. Some years ago Olga flew across the English Channel and based herself in Somerset, having a wonderful 5 years working for the legendary Butlins Holiday Resort. After moving to Nottingham Olga has embarked on a new life working in the recruitment industry, in Business Support.

Sarah joined Macildowie in early 2015 as a Business Support Administrator. Previously Sarah worked on Similar roles where she gained lots of Customer Service experience. Since Joining Macildowie in 2015 Sarah has worked her way up to Senior Business Support Administrator and is now looking after the facilities across the offices.
