The role will take responsibility for the purchasing and stock control of items contained within the Bill of Materials and other consumables. THE OPPORTUNITY: A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Commercial Finance Business Partner to join the finance team of a growing and developing business based in North Leicestershire. The role is required to work as a true business partner to the sales function providing analysis and insight to aid in strategic decision making optimising margin performance and sales volume growth. THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide direct support the sales team in various areas of day to day activity; for example new customer agreements or re-sign reviews and the monitoring of large capital installations. Development, production and review of financial KPI's. To provide financial guidance and expertise in the sales meetings. To provide analytical sales support to the business, specifically around: Customer and customer segment volume and realisation trends. Lost or declining customers. Loss making or low margin customers. To help monitor and identify trends in customer and market volumes and realisations. To highlight under performing areas of the business (internally or external markets) and to support sales management to ensure that appropriate performance plans are put in place. To review and challenge the performance of the sales teams and to help identify areas for improvement. To support the existing budgeting and forecasting processes in respect of product revenue and margin. To manage fixed customer pricing agreements and to link these in with future product supply pricing agreements. To undertake any other analysis/projects as required by the Finance Director or as directed by a senior manager from within the sales team. EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Degree educated with a minimum 2.1 achieved Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Knowledge in working with ERP applications.
