Purchase Ledger Clerk | Leicester | 3 Months Temp | £14ph
Macildowie are working with an exclusive client based in Leicester to recruit a Purchase Ledger on a temporary 3-month basis.
This role will suit someone detail-focused and confident working with both manual and automated processes. You will play a key part in managing the purchase ledger, ensuring invoices, payments and reconciliations are completed efficiently and accurately.
Salary: Up to £14 per hour
Type: Temporary (3 months initially)
Working arrangement: Office-based, Monday to Friday
Location: Central Leicester
Responsibilities:
- Processing, matching and allocating invoices
- Manually transferring data from the payment portal into Sage Intacct
- Cash book entries and raising purchase orders
- Completing payment runs
- Carrying out reconciliations (bank, statements, credit and supplier)
- Managing expenses and sending customer statements
- Supporting both manual and automated finance processes
About You:
- Strong attention to detail with good numeracy and organisational skills
- Experience of purchase ledger activities within a finance environment
- Confident using Excel for data handling and reporting
- Sage Intacct experience is desirable, but not essential
- A team player who can manage priorities and work accurately under pressure
