Management Accountant

Macildowie Finance are working exclusively to support a growing organisation within the logistics industry who are seeking to appoint a Management Accountant.

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Office-based with hybrid flexibility

This role has been introduced to support continued business growth across multiple revenue-generating units. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will take ownership of operational financial management, ensuring accurate reporting, effective controls, and valuable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting reports
• Oversight & ownership of 6 P&Ls
• Balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow forecasting and variance analysis
• Supervising payroll, credit control, and HR record maintenance
• Preparing financial models to support commercial decisions
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and VAT reporting
• Working with auditors and ensuring strong internal controls

The successful candidate will be/have:

• Part or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience
• Strong track record in management accounting
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
• High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
