I am partnering with this Milton Keynes based client to recruit an Interim Management Accountant to support their close-knit finance team through a period of change and growth. You will be stepping into a friendly, welcoming environment where the culture is built on a "one team" ethos, where they are constantly seeking to improve processes and increase their value-add.
The Role:
As Interim Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering the full range of management accounting duties, alongside ad hoc finance tasks to support the wider team.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- P&L analysis (eg. variance commentary)
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
- Working closely with non-finance colleagues to provide insight and support
- Ad hoc tasks to assist the finance function as required
What you'll need:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant
- Strong Excel skills are essential
- A team player with a flexible, hands-on approach
- Bonus but not essential: familiarity within either manufacturing, engineering, construction or logistics
