Accounts Manager - Maternity Cover (14-month FTC)
Macildowie are working with this client based in Leicester, a fast-paced organisation with a strong and recognisable brand, to recruit an Accounts Manager on a 14-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

- Salary: Up to £40,000
- Working pattern: Predominantly office-based (4-5 days per week)

Reporting into senior finance, the Accounts Manager will focus on the day-to-day running of transactional finance activities, with responsibility for supervising a small team of 2 full-time and 2 part-time staff.
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of purchase ledger and sales ledger operations
- Supervising transactional staff and supporting workload prioritisation
- Reviewing and approving payments, expenses and reconciliations
- Managing supplier and customer queries
- Supporting month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Ensuring policies, controls and deadlines are consistently met
- Contributing to process improvements within the finance team
