My first 3 years in Finance Recruitment, I specialised in all things Interim. To put that simply, anything not permanent. That could be taking a “temp to perm” approach to scope out the needs of the longer term role, or it could be temporary help with backlog or preparing for Financial Year-End / Audit. It could be cover for a Holiday or Sickness in the team, or a Maternity cover. It could also be more project based, for example needing a specialist skillset for a Systems implementation or Finance Transformation. From either perspective, if you think “I just need someone to come in and do…” then I’m the person to come to.

For all my sins, I too come from the world of finance. So, if a client tells me their VAT account hasn’t been reconciled in 6 months, I feel their pain. If a candidate tells me they’re “not a typical accountant,” I know where their strengths truly lie. And if you talk to me about the awesome excel spreadsheet you created from scratch, I WILL get excited and want to know all about it.  My personality profile is a blend of straight-talking “Fiery Red,” approachable “Sunshine Yellow” and methodical “Cool Blue” so by nature I want to work in partnership, to problem solve at pace AND get it right first time, which is actually pretty handy for my desk! I pride myself on listening, understanding, and delivering.
