Zoe Coy Enjoys...
Zoe has three children who keep her on her toes! If she's not out and about exploring with the kids, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen! Sometimes it’s a triumph and other times her cat gets an interesting dinner!
Whether abroad or closer to home, Zoe loves to explore new places and she's always planning her next trip away. Nothing beats being near the sea and enjoying some local cuisine (and wine!).
What do you do?
I lead Talent & Development and HR across Macildowie Group — covering how we attract and hire our own consultants, how we develop, progress and retain them once they’re here, and the broader people operations that keep the business running well. Nearly 16 years at Macildowie means I’ve sat in a lot of seats — from billing consultant to divisional manager to where I am now — and I think that makes a real difference to how I approach the people side of a recruitment business.
What are you known for?
Turning complexity into clarity and solving problems that sit at the intersection of people and process. I work across the full career lifecycle at Macildowie — from the moment someone joins to the point they’re leading others — and I care as much about the foundations that make growth possible as I do about the conversations within it. Whether that’s designing a career framework, building the processes that support a business to scale, or sitting with someone to map out exactly how they get to where they want to be, I love helping people see that the opportunity they’re looking for is right here — and then making sure everything around them supports them to go and get it.

🦸 Superpower
Connecting the dots between people, process and commercial reality — and knowing when to build something new and when to fix what’s already there. The business trusts me to do both.
