About the Role:

The Payroll and Accounts Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial accuracy and efficiency of our operations. This position is integral to both the payroll and accounts departments, providing a balanced focus on processing payroll and managing accounts tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Maintain and update employee timesheets and related records.
  • Manage purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
  • Assist in month-end financial processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to address payroll and accounts inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and accounts management.
  • Proficiency in managing purchase ledgers and timesheet records.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with payroll software and financial systems.
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
