IT Technical Analyst
- Location: Knutsford Onsite
- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + benefits

The Role:
As a Technical Analyst, you will play a key part in delivering infrastructure projects and enhancing the organisation's IT security and configuration standards. You will act as a third line escalation point, collaborating closely with DevOps, Security and Application teams to ensure smooth operations across systems and networks.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting enhancements to on premises infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments
- Working with Entra ID and identity-based security solutions
- Participating in large scale infrastructure rollouts such as email migrations and centralisation projects
- Managing identity and access controls across systems and cloud platforms
- Evaluating infrastructure configuration and recommending best practices
- Maintaining detailed documentation of systems and procedures
- Supporting software deployments and integrations across hybrid environments
- Performing system upgrades, patches and maintenance to ensure stability and security
- Collaborating with external vendors and service providers
- Maintaining IT security through proactive monitoring and incident response
About You:
- You will bring a solid background in IT infrastructure and a strong understanding of both on premises and cloud technologies.
- A confident communicator, comfortable working independently and across teams in a complex environment.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience in an IT infrastructure or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and Entra ID
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Desirable skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and hybrid setups)
- Knowledge of storage and backup solutions
- Awareness of IT security best practices
