Are you an experienced Parts Advisor looking to join a busy, professional dealership with excellent long-term career prospects?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established franchised automotive retailer for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their successful aftersales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced dealership environment where you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to both trade and retail customers, as well as supporting the workshop and wider business.

About the Role

As a Parts Advisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department by providing an efficient and professional service to customers and colleagues alike.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and supplying vehicle parts to retail, trade and internal workshop customers.
  • Processing customer enquiries and orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receiving, checking, storing and organising incoming stock.
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with inventory control.
  • Using the dealership management system (DMS) to process orders and manage stock.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
  • Delivering excellent customer service while working to high levels of accuracy.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchised dealership  
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and dealership operations.
  • Experience using a Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday on a rota:
    • 7:30am – 5:00pm, or
    • 8:30am – 6:00pm
  • Saturday rota: 8:00am – 12:30pm
