Job Description

Buying Administrator / Hemel Hempstead/ Salary up to £30,000 per annum / 12 Month Fixed term Contract/ Fully Office Based.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Place orders and progress/chase to ensure goods are available to meet quality, delivery and business requirements.
  • Manage supplier day to day liaison and report areas of concern or excellence
  • Build and maintain partnerships with the supply chain overseas and in the UK, maintaining effective and regular communication.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Strategic Managers ensuring that all aspects of supply, inventory and policy are discussed and agreed.
  • Support the RFQ Process.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and within Buying.
  • Proficient with Microsoft packages.
  • International Buying experience.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills
