Job Description

£26,000 - £30,000 DEO | Monday - Friday | 08:30 - 17:00 | Early finish on Fridays

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert assistance and support across a wide spectrum of pre-sales inquiries from end-users, sales and service representatives, and merchants, including technical guidance.
  • Efficiently manage phone and email inquiries, addressing technical support needs, handling engineering queries, and responding to product inquiries.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of all pre-sales processes and protocols.
  • Issue quotations and diligently follow up on them.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base encompassing our commercial, domestic, and renewable product offerings.
  • Support spare parts sales initiatives.
  • Attend training sessions as required to stay current with our evolving product range.
  • Assist in resolving inquiries related to warranties, commissioning, and follow up on complaints and concerns on behalf of our valued clients.
  • Identify optimal solutions for end-users and effectively communicate them.
  • Cultivate effective communication channels with clients and partners, nurturing long-term relationships that align with our business objectives.
  • Continuously expand your expertise in technical specifications, product usage, and maintenance.
  • Competently navigate and utilise various in-house systems, ensuring data accuracy and system currency.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration and develop a comprehensive understanding of all roles within the organisation.
  • Participate in promotional events as appropriate.
  • Timely reporting to senior management when required, such as providing technical support information for site-related queries.
  • As part of your employment, you may be assigned additional responsibilities commensurate with your role's level of responsibility within the organisation.

Skills & Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable experience in engaging with end-users in a pre-sales/technical support environment.
  • A natural forward planner, highly motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure, displaying methodical and highly organised traits while maintaining clarity of thought.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SOP systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client-relations skills.
  • A strong desire to cultivate technical skills, with problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • A dynamic, proactive nature with a client-focused mindset.
  • Precision in data entry skills, coupled with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in contributing effectively within a highly productive team and the flexibility to adapt to a continually evolving environment.
