Job Description

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Hybrid

Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 DEO

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Coordinator. In this role, you will collaborate with Business Development Managers to elevate the firm's profile and support marketing activities aimed at cultivating new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain CRM Pipeline records and conduct research on clients and potential clients.
  • Create compelling PowerPoint presentations from the CRM dashboard.
  • Identify target markets and potential clients, conducting background research, and updating the database.
  • Monitor and manage business development pipelines and action plans.
  • Assist in organising and attending office events and external networking events.
  • Research industry events for lawyers, manage bookings, and represent the firm when required.
  • Develop the use of social media by lawyers, targeting prospects and generating relevant content.
  • Assist in preparing content and mailing lists for email campaigns.
  • Monitor tracking for website and email campaigns.
  • Provide general administrative support and handle ad hoc tasks related to Business Development.
  • Utilise the telephone as a sales and marketing tool with confidence.
  • Demonstrate expertise in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs) and train others on these platforms.
  • Attend meetings with internal sector focus groups, contributing to the creation of business development action plans.
  • Prepare key Action Point's following meetings and actively support plan implementation.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in marketing or a business-related field, or equivalent qualifications/training (CIM).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with social media channels.
  • Previous experience in a business development role within a law firm or other professional services firm is advantageous.
  • Strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships through networking and referrals.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
