Temporary Credit Controller

Location: Near Alfreton, Derbyshire

Duration: Temporary minimum 4 weeks

Position Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Fridays 8.30am-4.30pm

Hourly Rate: £12.50-£14.50

Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced Credit Controller ready to make an immediate impact? We are representing a company, based near Alfreton, who are seeking a dynamic individual to join their team for a temporary assignment lasting for a minimum of 4 weeks.


  • Manage and maintain the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
  • Conduct credit assessments on new and existing customers.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.


  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in credit control.
  • Ability to hit the ground running without the need for extensive training.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using credit control software and Microsoft Office.
  • Confident in picking up the phone and speaking with customers.

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8.30am-5pm
  • Friday: 8.30am-4.30pm


  • Office is based near Alfreton, Derbyshire.
  • Hybrid working after initial training period.

Hourly Rate:

  • £12.50-£14.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
