Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support our team deliver a range projects across England. The business we are recruiting for is based in Glenfield. You should have a background in mechanical project management, with business skills and acumen, budgeting and analysis.
You will be tasked with looking after a multitude of projects ranging from commercial, student accommodation to large scale residential projects. Role will involve responsibility for schedules, budgets, Health & Safety and overall profitability of Mechanical projects. You will primarily office based with travel to sites as and when needed mainly in the midlands but some are out of town therefore willing to work away.
You will have performed a similar role in the past and have demonstrated delivery of all the key components. You will be a good communicator, meet tight deadlines, and be a self-starter.

This is a full time permanent position which offers hybrid working.


Creation and management of Project Plans, monitoring and tracking performance to ensure timescales and targets are met

Maintenance and implementation of the Project Issues Register

Provision of written weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports in conjunction with a scheduled meeting

Monitoring and reporting progress, identifying issues, opportunities or non-conformities throughout the projects and developing and implementing or suggesting improvements or corrective actions

Interacting with colleagues and sub-contractors to optimise delivery arrangements and ensure the quality of delivery

Ensure all programme documentation is clearly written and suitable for its intended audience

Engaging stakeholders scheduling regular programme update meetings, both remotely and face to face

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring all parts of the process deliver a high-quality, efficient, supportive and value for money service

Acting as the principle point of contact with project clients


2-3 years experience
Degree level qualification in building services HNC or HND
Experience of successfully delivering end to end project management including managing multiple projects, project planning (essential)
